DFCU bank has handed over Shs10 million to boost the Nalongo Scholarship Fund for Higher Education at Nkumba University in Entebbe.

Executive Director Moses Kibirige said the offer was part of the company’s corporate social responsibility to help brilliant but needy students achieve their dreams.

“We hope our contribution will give the students an opportunity to fulfil their educational goals and become the individuals they aspire to be,” Mr Kibirige said on February 20.

Nkumba University Vice Chancellor Prof Senteza Kajubi said the Nalongo Kajubi Scholarship Fund was established to support well-performing students who lack tuition.
