Green Bay Packers Scholarship deadline issued

Friday is the new deadline for applications for the Green Bay Packers Scholarship to be awarded to Brown County high school seniors who will graduate this year and plan to enroll in a two-year technical or apprenticeship trades program at a technical college in Wisconsin.

Scholarships vary in amount, and are awarded on the basis of community service, involvement in athletics, academic achievement and financial need. The Green Bay Packers Foundation offers $7,500 in scholarships through Northeast Wisconsin Technical College.

Applications are available at www.nwtc.edu. Click on the link for Brown County high school graduates at the lower right corner of the page. To complete the application, students must fax their transcripts to (920) 498-7152, to the attention of the NWTC Foundation.
