Seniors can apply for MPTC scholarship

The Moraine Park Foundation at Moraine Park Technical College has created a new scholarship opportunity for this spring’s area high school graduates.

A $400 general scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior who plans to attend MPTC in fall 2007-08, from each of the 27 high schools within the Moraine Park District.

The application deadline is March 15.

These scholarships are not restricted to a particular program area or campus (Fond du Lac, Beaver Dam and West Bend).

Eligible candidates must be a class of 2007 high school graduate accepted into one of MPTC’s degree programs and enrolled in a minimum of nine credits per semester.

Applicants must have a high school GPA of 2.75 and maintain a 2.75 GPA or higher while at Moraine Park. Applications may be obtained from high school guidance counselors, a Moraine Park Financial Aid Office or from www.morainepark.edu /foundation.

Scholarship awards will be announced by April 30.
