Scholarship applications are being accepted for up to $3,000 per year from the Society of Plastics Engineers’ Akron Section.

The program promotes knowledge in polymer science, engineering and technology. Started in 1990, it has awarded more than $221,000 to area students. Particular emphasis is given to students enrolling in two- and four-year programs with a plastics application.
