Brunswick Community Hospital scholarship
February 28th, 2007 - Posted in Education, ScholarshipThe Brunswick Community Hospital Auxiliary is hoping to make a difference in the lives of three Brunswick Community College health professions students in the next academic year.
“This has been a dream for several years,” says Ruth Ann Keener, manager of Volunteer Services for Brunswick Community Hospital. “We developed this scholarship to help second-year students because this is where we saw the greatest need. We want to help them achieve their goals and dreams. These scholarships may enable them to complete their studies so they can come back and help in our community.”
Qualified candidates for the BCH Volunteer Auxiliary Healthcare Scholarship must apply and be interviewed through the Brunswick Community College Foundation grant program. The scholarship is awarded based on academics, need, enrollment in a health related program at BCC and motivation.
