Edward C. Farrell Memorial Scholarship Foundation accepts applications

The Edward C. Farrell Memorial Scholarship Foundation is accepting applications for its $1,000 scholarship to be awarded in June.
Eligible applicants must be Ledyard residents and seniors at Ledyard High School, The Williams School, an area technical school or St. Bernard High School.
Applicants will continue their education at a college, university or technical school.

Ethics amendment limits private scholarship providers

Hundreds of college-bound students whose parents draw state salaries could find themselves disqualified from receiving private financial aid this year because of the recently passed “Ethics in Government” initiative.
