Hudson Valley residents pursuing a career change into the health care field, or changing their career direction within the health care field may apply for the Poughkeepsie Area Chamber of Commerce’s Raymond W. Gordon Healthcare Scholarship.

Applications are due Monday.

Established by the Ray Gordon family and the Chamber, the foundation’s eighth scholarship was created to honor the memory of Gordon, who returned to school at the age of 43 to pursue a career as a radiographer.

Applications for this, or any other Chamber scholarship, are available at www.pokchamb.org or by calling 845-454-1700, ext. 1012.

Scholarships will be awarded at the May 16 Education Contact Breakfast beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel.
