Celina High School seniors were recognized for academic accomplishments and the over $1 million in scholarship funds they received from the CARE organization, various donors, and from their respective universities.

Dru Prosser was named best all around boy, and D’Ann Conner was named best all around girl. Hundreds were in attendance including family members, school officials, and numerous donors who helped make many of the scholarships possible.

“I’m amazed at these kids and their generosity,” said Celina High School Senior Counselor Vickie Reid. She also commended the efforts that members of the CARE board put forth to raise funds and make the night possible.

Celina High School Principal Jeff Oldham commented on the accomplishment of this year’s seniors saying, “I think this is an incredibly energetic, talented, and focused group of individuals.” We can expect great things out of them.”
