The University of Arkansas - Fort Smith has announced the names of several students who have signed acceptance contracts for scholarships for the fall 2007 semester.

Included in the group are:

Alma:

Brett Hubbard of Alma has accepted an Engineering Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. He is the son of David Hubbard and is a 2007 Alma High School graduate.

Fort Smith:

Logan S. Cates of Fort Smith has accepted a University Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. He is the son of Ron and Candy Cates and is a 2007 Southside High School graduate.

Brittany D. Elder of Fort Smith has accepted an Arkansas Scholars Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Danny and Gina Elder and is a 2007 graduate of Southside High School.

Caitlin Fitch of Fort Smith has accepted an Arkansas Scholars Scholarship and a University Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Mark and Valene Fitch and is a 2007 Northside High School graduate.

Samuel A. Gahr of Fort Smith has accepted an Arkansas Scholars Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. He is the son of Brian and Deborah Gahr and is a 2007 graduate of Southside High School.

Melissa S. Green of Fort Smith has accepted an Arkansas Scholars Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Perry and Debbie Green and is a 2007 graduate of Southside High School.

Amanda N. O’Leary of Fort Smith has accepted an Arkansas Scholars Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Brian and Pam O’Leary and is a 2007 graduate of Southside High School.

Amber N. Robison of Fort Smith has accepted a University Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Caroll and Rachelle Robison and is a 2007 Southside High School graduate.

Greenwood:

Brittany A. Billiot of Greenwood has accepted an Arkansas Scholars Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Gloria Billiot and is a 2007 Greenwood High School graduate.

Corey D. Brown of Greenwood has accepted an Arkansas Scholars Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. He is the son of Jesus and Regina Guerrero of Greenwood and Donnie Brown of Mansfield. He is a 2007 Greenwood High School graduate.

Emily Brooke Driscoll of Greenwood has accepted a University Scholarship and a Ralph and Melanie Speer Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Marty and Leeann Driscoll and is a 2007 Greenwood High School graduate.

Sarah June Driscoll of Greenwood has accepted a Ralph and Melanie Speer Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Marty and Leeann Driscoll and is a 2007 Greenwood High School graduate.

Lauren N. Teague of Greenwood has accepted an Arkansas Scholars Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Roy and Cheri Teague and is a 2007 Greenwood High School graduate.

Leslie A. Ware of Greenwood has accepted an Arkansas Scholars Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Steve and Meryl Ware and is a 2007 graduate of Greenwood High School.

Hartford:

Matthew M. Lee of Hartford has accepted a University Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. He is the son of David and Lynn Lee and is a 2007 graduate of Hartford High School.

Horatio:

Laken M. Houser of Horatio has accepted a Housing Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Greg Houser of Lockesburg, Ark., and Cheryl Houser of Horatio, Ark., and is a 2007 graduate of Horatio High School.

Lavaca:

Stephanie Longley of Lavaca has accepted a University Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Julie and Mike Sutton and of Gary and Denise Longley. She is a 2007 graduate of Lavaca High School.

Mena:

Mandy L. Martin of Mena has accepted a University Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Michael and Lisa Martin and of Catherine Edwards. She is a 2007 Acorn High School graduate.

Muldrow:

Tristan J. Atkerson of Muldrow has accepted an Engineering Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. He is the son of J.D. and Betty Atkerson and is a 2007 Roland High School graduate.

Springdale:

Amy M. Castleman of Springdale has accepted a University Scholarship and a Housing Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Shannon Seay and is a 2007 graduate of Springdale High School.

Van Buren:

Thiet T. Ho of Van Buren has accepted a University Scholarship at UA Fort Smith. She is the daughter of Lam Ho and is a 2007 graduate of Van Buren High School.

The University of Arkansas - Fort Smith will release the names of additional scholarship recipients for fall 2007 on a weekly basis.
