The community of Ralls continues to honor fallen soldier Sergeant Randell Olguin. At Friday’s football game, volunteers passed out red, white, and blue ribbons in memory of Olguin.

They also painted a giant ribbon in the middle of the field, and volunteers collected donations for a scholarship fund in Olguin’s name.

Olguin was killed in Iraq when insurgents attacked his unit in Baghdad. Family and friends laid him to rest on Tuesday.
