SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A. Foundation Scholarship

U.S. and Caribbean nationals interested in pursuing studies in media, broadcasting or public speaking are being offered scholarship awards in the memory of Christian communications professional and former CNN news anchor Andria Hall.

The SpeakEasy M.E.D.I.A. Foundation opened the application process for two grants which will be awarded to a high school student from the United States and another from the Caribbean region where Hall featured at many inspiring tourism and media conferences.

Each grant will total $2,000 and will be awarded to individuals pursing media-related studies at the college or university of their choice. In addition, each winner will receive a fellowship to attend an upcoming edition of the Caribbean Media Exchange on Sustainable Tourism (CMEx), which Hall helped to produce, or another media event in the U.S. or Caribbean.

    Buenas Dias, I am Leila Dagalea- Vicente a TV reporter of a known broadcasting network in the Philippines, ABSCBN. I am a TV reporter for almost a decade now inn Zamboanga City. I cover all beats but have dealt most of my covering military beat, visiting war torn areas or places known as lairs of local terrorists the abu sayyaf group and also the MILF rebels. Im a beat interested as to what speakeasy MEDIA offers. I may no longer be a high school graduate but at my age 36 I believe is a great help for me to know things abroad that would be an additional knowledge in my profession. Am sending just to know if I am still qualified to earn scholarships from your foundation may not a be a formal schooling but any related studies or even seminars.
