GIA Scholarship Applications Deadline October 15

The deadline for GIA scholarship applications is nearing. The Institute must receive all scholarship applications by October 15 for classes beginning in 2008. A record 96 scholarships, valued at $431,000, will be available.

15 Georgian students to receive scholarship

Fifteen students enrolled in the mechanical techniques/marine engine mechanic program at Georgian College this fall will each receive a $1,000 scholarship from the Ontario Marine Operators Association (OMOA).

Rotarians present scholarship awards

The Rotary Club of Somerville and Bridgewater recently held its annual scholarship awards luncheon at the Bridgewater Manor.
Eight students from local schools were awarded scholarships totaling $15,000.
