Kentuckians capture merit scholarships

More than 50 recent Kentucky graduates of high schools are among 2,100 winners of college-sponsored National Merit Scholarships announced earlier this week.
They will receive $500 to $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study at the institution financing the scholarship.
