Three receive DAAD scholarships

The German Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Mr Peter Linder, has handed over scholarship certificates to three Ghanaian students.
They are the first students to have successfully passed the rigorous selection process in 2006 and to be awarded scholarships by the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) to pursue various studies in Germany.

The Edward C. Farrell Memorial Scholarship Foundation is accepting applications for its $1,000 scholarship to be awarded in June.
Eligible applicants must be Ledyard residents and seniors at Ledyard High School, The Williams School, an area technical school or St. Bernard High School.
Applicants will continue their education at a college, university or technical school.
