Aviation Student Awarded Scholarship From Helicopter Association

An aviation maintenance technology major at Pennsylvania College of Technology is one of only two students chosen worldwide to receive an Aircraft Maintenance Technician Scholarship from Helicopter Association International.

SAN JOSE, Calif. – An Okalahoma City teenager won the top award of a $100,000 scholarship for building a spectrograph that can identify individual molecules as part of the annual Intel Science Talent Search (STS). Glitz, glamour and great food made the annual Father Gilbert J. Burke Easter Ball at Heinz Field on Saturday a complete success for the Alumni Council Endowed Scholarship fund at St. Vincent College. The widow of a Texas oil executive has donated $100 million to expand the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s prestigious merit scholarship program.
