The Pauls Foundation, which helps fund arts organizations, has established a scholarship in memory of its director, Ralph Arnold, at two Chicago institutions.
Arnold, a professor whose love of the arts transcended his professional life, passed away May 10, 2006.

NMC allowed to make $250K loan

Northern Marianas College may now get a loan for its campus renovation plans.
The governor signed House Bill 15-222 on Thursday immediately after his return from a Japan trip.
Now Public Law 15-58, the measure grants NMC legislative authorization to enter into a commercial loan agreement for $250,000 and to secure the loan with its cash deposits.

Easter Ball builds scholarship fund

Glitz, glamour and great food made the annual Father Gilbert J. Burke Easter Ball at Heinz Field on Saturday a complete success for the Alumni Council Endowed Scholarship fund at St. Vincent College.
