Edison’s scholarship money restored

Edison High School will get its Wallin scholarship money after all, and Edison Principal Larry Lucio has been put on administrative leave during an investigation, district officials said Tuesday.

Family establishes scholarship fund at Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation

Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation announced it received a bequest from Marion “Bunny” Hoover of almost $1 million to provide an endowment fund for annual scholarships benefiting graduates of North Platte High School as well as students at North Platte Community College.
