Rotary Club presents eight scholarships

The Lake Stevens-Granite Falls Rotary Club has awarded $8,000 in scholarships to Cody Radle from Prove High School, Holly Bolyard and Jennifer DuPrey from Granite Falls High School and Candace Bonnell, Alyssa Isaman, Emily Dykgraat, Lauren Cook and Ashley Hahn from Lake Stevens High School.

Students awarded Wal-Mart scholarships

Puneet Gill of Chino High School and Melanie Casabar of Don Lugo High School were among 49 students in the Inland Empire to receive $1,000 scholarships from Wal-Mart.

Siskiyou County’s 4-H office has announced the 2006 winners of annual 4-H scholarships.
Will Cook, a Montague 4-H All Star, was awarded a $500 scholarship and Janice Bridwell, a Gazelle 4-H All Star earned a $300 scholarship. A third scholarship in the amount of $200 was not awarded this year, since no one applied for it.
